The Komodo Global Round is the flagship, in-person finale of the Komodo International Math Competition. It gathers the best young mathematicians from around the world in Bali, Indonesia — a destination renowned for its warmth, beauty, and rich culture — to compete, collaborate, and celebrate mathematics together.
More than a competition, the Global Round is a full immersive experience. Between the exam, math challenges, and awarding ceremony, participants explore Bali's temples, beaches, mountains, and villages, and make friendships that span continents.
Participation in the Global Round is by qualification only. Four routes lead to Bali.
Medals earned in the Online or Local Round unlock exclusive discounts on the Global Round participation package.
Missed the Online Round or Local Round? The Fast Track Exam is your final opportunity to qualify for the Global Round — taken online from anywhere.
The passing score for each category is determined based on the lowest score that achieved an Honorable Mention award in the previous Online Rounds. This minimum score varies depending on the competition category.
The exact passing threshold will be announced after the last Online Round (19 December 2026).
Fast Track qualifiers are eligible for the Global Round but do not receive a medal discount on the registration fee.
Both packages include the Komodo Exam, Math Challenges, and the Awarding Ceremony. The Ultimate Experience adds cultural excursions across Bali.
Age is calculated as of Online Round 1 (19 September 2026).
Short, creative, interactive math games conducted alongside the awarding ceremony. Participants team up across categories and countries to solve puzzles, compete in speed rounds, and win Special Prizes.
The formal recognition event where medalists receive their awards. Features performances, remarks from competition officials, and the announcement of Secret Grand Prizes for the Top 5 Overall Winners per category.
On Day 1, participants and families are welcomed by the Eduversal team with introductions, program briefings, and light entertainment — the first opportunity to meet peers from other countries.

All participants, parents, and chaperones are expected to follow the Komodo Code of Conduct for a safe, respectful experience.
