Choose the route that fits your schedule. Every pathway leads to the Grand Final in Bali, where the world's top young mathematicians compete.

Most Flexible
Online Round

Three separate online exams throughout the year. Participate in any one — or all three — until you earn a medal and qualify.

  • Register on the portal
  • Choose Round 1 (Sep 19), 2 (Oct 31), or 3 (Dec 19)
  • Earn a medal → invited to Global Round
02
Offline Option
Local Round

Take an offline contest through a participating partner in your country — a more traditional competition experience.

  • Register through a local partner
  • Take the offline exam in your country
  • Earn a medal → invited to Global Round

Accelerated Route
Fast Track

Haven't qualified yet? The Fast Track is an online alternative for participants who wish to join the Global Round directly.

  • Open to participants without a medal
  • Online exam at a specified time
  • Pass → invited to Global Round
Flexible progression: Flexible progression: Participants may join Online Round 1, 2, or 3, the Local Round, or Fast Track — and continue through these stages until they qualify for the Global Round in Bali.
